Baropodometry

Baropodometry is a digital assessment of foot posture and pressure distribution. A sensor platform is used to assess foot biomechanics in both the static (standing) and dynamic (walking) phases, enabling the detection of hidden imbalances that are invisible to the naked eye.
What It Analyses
- Zones of pressure distribution across the surface of the foot
- Symmetry of body weight loading on the right and left limbs
- Gait phases and points of maximum pressure (overload)
- Anatomical foot type
Who It Helps
People with musculoskeletal pain and discomfort (foot, knee, hip, lower back). Also, athletes and people with active lifestyles, for injury prevention and improved movement efficiency.
The information obtained from the assessment is also used to make a custom orthopaedic insole.
