Baropodometry

Baropodometry

Baropodometry is a digital assessment of foot posture and pressure distribution. A sensor platform is used to assess foot biomechanics in both the static (standing) and dynamic (walking) phases, enabling the detection of hidden imbalances that are invisible to the naked eye.

What It Analyses

  • Zones of pressure distribution across the surface of the foot
  • Symmetry of body weight loading on the right and left limbs
  • Gait phases and points of maximum pressure (overload)
  • Anatomical foot type

Who It Helps

People with musculoskeletal pain and discomfort (foot, knee, hip, lower back). Also, athletes and people with active lifestyles, for injury prevention and improved movement efficiency.

The information obtained from the assessment is also used to make a custom orthopaedic insole.

Stabilometry

Stabilometry

Stabilometry is a biomechanical assessment that examines the body's ability to maintain stability in a standing position. During the assessment, small postural sways are recorded, which is critically important for evaluating the coordinated functioning of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems.

What It Analyses

  • The trajectory and speed of movement of the centre of gravity
  • The ability to maintain balance under different sensory conditions (e.g. with eyes open and closed)
  • The amplitude of body sway along the front-to-back and side-to-side axes
  • Deviations in postural characteristics from normal values

Who It Helps

People with impaired coordination, dizziness, difficulty with spatial orientation or chronic joint instability (including ankle instability). It is also important for a comprehensive assessment of postural disorders.

The assessment results provide the basis for properly planning balance-restoration therapy and corrective exercises.

3D Posture Assessment

3D Posture Assessment

A 3D posture assessment is a safe, non-invasive evaluation of body posture without radiation. Innovative LiDAR technology creates an accurate three-dimensional model of the back surface, allowing detailed assessment of the position of the spine, pelvis, shoulders and lower limbs.

What It Analyses

  • Spinal curvature in all three planes (frontal, sagittal, transverse)
  • Shoulder and pelvic asymmetry (tilt, rotation)
  • Postural imbalance and signs of scoliosis
  • More than 20 different clinical parameters

Who It Helps

Anyone for whom early detection of postural disorders is important. Ideal for children and adolescents during growth, as it does not use X-ray radiation and is completely safe for frequent monitoring.

The results of 3D diagnostics also provide a basis for selecting targeted corrective exercises.

Computerised Gait Analysis

Computerised Gait Analysis

Computerised gait analysis (kinematic assessment) is a modern method for dynamically assessing body movement. It evaluates the biomechanics of walking and running, allowing us to identify movement abnormalities that are not visible and the causes of uneven joint loading.

What It Analyses

  • Step length, frequency (cadence) and speed
  • Gait phases (stance and swing phases) and their symmetry
  • Kinematics of the pelvis, knee and ankle joint in 3D
  • Excessive pronation and supination of the ankle and knee

Who It Helps

People with an active lifestyle, amateur and professional athletes. Also, those who experience pain while walking or during physical activity and want to prevent injuries.

The assessment data also enables precise modelling of a custom orthopaedic insole.
